Boston police seek public’s help to identify armed robbery suspect

BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in an armed robbery that occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the vicinity of 24 Hancock St.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid-40s with medium brown skin, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin to medium build.

He was last seen wearing a brown plaid jacket, light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a tan “booney” style hat.

It was noted that he may be bald after the hat fell off during the incident.

Authorities are thoroughly examining the details of the case and encourage anyone with information to contact the District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
