SURRY — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for Franklin McCormick, 84, who has been reported missing from his home on Toddy Pond Road since May 20.
McCormick, who suffers from dementia, is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
He may be driving a silver Toyota RAV-4 with Maine registration 9563KH.
Authorities say he was last seen wearing jeans and a dark t-shirt.
Although McCormick may be attempting to travel to West Virginia, officials note that he does not have any known connections there.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information regarding McCormick’s whereabouts to call 207-667-7575 immediately.
