Sabattus couple arrested for aggravated drug trafficking

SABATTUS — In a collaborative operation with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Sabattus Police Department executed a search warrant on May 20 that led to the seizure of 41.8 grams of fentanyl and the arrest of two individuals on drug trafficking charges.

Nathan Holmes and Heather Cesaroni, both 41 and residents of Sabattus, were apprehended at their residence at 10 Boutin Drive during the raid.

The pair have been charged with aggravated trafficking in a Schedule W drug, according to a statement from Chief Baker of the Sabattus Police Department.

Following their arrest, Holmes and Cesaroni were each assigned a bail of $10,000.

They are scheduled for a court appearance on July 24 to face their charges.
