Chicopee police arrest three in stolen vehicle case, heroin found

CHICOPEE — Detectives in Chicopee Falls apprehended three individuals on Friday evening in connection with a stolen vehicle from Springfield, leading to the discovery of a significant quantity of heroin.

At around 5:50 p.m., a detective located the stolen vehicle parked and running in a Walnut Street driveway, occupied by three people.

Backup officers arrived, and all three suspects were taken into custody.

During an inventory check of the vehicle, officers found four red packages containing what is believed to be 50 baggies of heroin each on the back seat.

The arrested individuals, all from Springfield, face multiple charges.

Doughlas Moss, 21, Brennan O’Connor, 19, and Brandon Aponte, 37, were charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a Class A drug.

Additionally, O’Connor and Aponte had outstanding warrants.
