Boston woman arrested for drug trafficking in Dorchester

BOSTON — A Dorchester woman was arrested Saturday morning on multiple drug trafficking charges following a search warrant executed by Boston police.

At about 11:39 a.m., on May 18, members of the Drug Control Units of District C-6 (South Boston) and C-11 (Dorchester) took 50-year-old Michelle Mallon into custody at 49 Harbor View Street, as part of an ongoing investigation responding to community complaints about illegal drug activity in the area.

During the search, officers seized 79 grams of Fentanyl, 56 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 44 grams of cocaine, 125 amphetamine pills, psilocybin mushrooms, various scales and plastic bags, and approximately $5,297 in U.S. currency.

Mallon faces charges including trafficking of class A substances, trafficking of class B substances, two counts of possession with intent to distribute class B substances, and two counts of possession with intent to distribute class C substances.

She is scheduled to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
