Underhill man arrested for domestic assault

UNDERHILL — Troopers responded to a report of a family fight on Beaver Brook Hill on May 18, arresting 35-year-old Albert Frye on charges of domestic assault.

Vermont State Police arrived at the scene at approximately 7:33 p.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance.

Upon investigation, they determined that Frye, a resident of Underhill, had allegedly assaulted a family member.

Frye was taken into custody without incident and was processed at the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks.

He has been issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division on May 20 at 8:15 a.m.

In accordance with privacy policies, the identity of the victim has not been released by the Vermont State Police.

The department has a strict policy of withholding the names of victims in cases of sexual assault or domestic violence to protect their privacy and safety.

The case remains under investigation, and no further details have been made available at this time.
