Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests, incidents in two-week span

DOVER — The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest and incident log for the period from April 28 to May 11, detailing several arrests and a range of reported incidents across the region.

Among those arrested were Chelsea Broy-St Pierre, 38, of Brownville, for possession of a scheduled drug, and Edward Sousa, 58, also from Brownville, on the same charge.

Ezra Ilnicki, 43, from Parkman, was charged with operating under the influence (OUI), while Corey Cookson, 45, from Guilford, was arrested for violation of a protection order.

Denise Sibert, 45, from Milo, was charged with OUI, and Michael Drake Sr, 55, from Clifton, faced a warrant arrest and was charged with violating conditions of release.

In addition to arrests, the Sheriff’s Office issued three traffic infraction citations during the reported period.

The log also detailed a variety of incidents that the Sheriff’s deputies responded to, ranging from E911 hang-ups, welfare checks, and assisting other law enforcement agencies to more serious matters such as burglary alarms, thefts, and property damage vehicle accidents.

Among the incidents reported were a burglary alarm and a vehicle accident in Guilford, a civil complaint in Parkman, and suspicious activities in multiple towns.

The Sheriff’s Office also provided assistance to broken down motorists and responded to several E911 hang-ups and misdials throughout the two-week span.
