Two killed in Manchester motorcycle crash

MANCHESTER — A motorcycle collision with a car in Manchester resulted in the deaths of two Dunbarton residents on May 17.

According to the Manchester Police Department, the crash occurred at about 8:19 p.m. at the intersection of Elm Street and Pearl Street.

A 2021 Honda Accord, driven by a 43-year-old Manchester man, was executing a U-turn near 1205 Elm Street when it struck a northbound motorcycle.

The motorcycle was operated by a 34-year-old man with a 38-year-old female passenger, both from Dunbarton.

The female was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male rider was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased, pending notification of their families.

The driver of the Honda Accord did not sustain injuries in the incident.

Manchester Police are still investigating the crash and have asked anyone with information to contact the department’s Traffic Unit at 603-668-8711.
