Randolph man charged with DUI after hitting guardrail

RANDOLPH — A local man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after state police responded to reports of a vehicle hitting a guardrail on Route 66.

Troopers were alerted to the incident on May 17 at around 6:21 p.m.

Upon arriving at a residence on Rogers Road, they located the vehicle and identified the driver as 57-year-old Jonathan Aiudi of Randolph.

An investigation concluded that Aiudi was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police – Royalton Barracks for processing.

After processing, Aiudi was released on a citation to appear at the Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on June 5 at 8 a.m.
