Ryegate man reports stolen dirt bike, police seek information

RYEGATE — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a 2022 KTM 450 SX-F dirt bike from a residence at 1888 Scott Highway, after it was reported missing on May 17.

The owner, Hunter Benoit, 24, of Bradford, reported that the orange dirt bike, adorned with “517” decals on the front and rear, was stolen between the evening of May 13 and the morning of May 14, according to police.

Authorities have not identified any suspects at this time and are calling on the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the recovery of the stolen vehicle and the apprehension of the thief or thieves.
