SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man was arrested late Saturday night on allegations of driving under the influence of alcohol following a report of a missing vehicle, according to the Springfield Police Department.

Officers responded to a call from Commonwealth Avenue around 10:19 p.m. where a resident reported their vehicle was missing.

Officer Guzzo located the vehicle in the vicinity of the residence shortly afterward.

The investigation led to the arrest of Andrew Wilson, who is accused of operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Wilson was taken into custody at 11:12 p.m. without incident.

He was processed at the police station—being fingerprinted and photographed—and was subsequently issued a juvenile citation.

Wilson is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Family Division, Windsor Unit, on June 5 at 8 a.m. to face the DUI charge.
