Nashua man arrested in connection with fraudulent transactions

NASHUA — A Nashua man was arrested May 10 as part of an investigation into unauthorized financial transactions, according to local authorities.

Erick Reyes-Hidalgo, 28, was taken into custody by the Nashua Police Department on an outstanding warrant for felony Theft by Deception.

The investigation began Jan. 11 after an officer received a report of the unauthorized transactions.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division identified Reyes-Hidalgo as the suspect responsible for the unauthorized activity.

They subsequently applied for and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with Theft by Deception – Class A Felony.

Following his arrest, Reyes-Hidalgo faced an additional count of Theft by Deception – Class A Felony.

He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on a date yet to be determined.
