HENNIKER — Officers from the Henniker Police Department arrested a woman on drug charges after responding to a report of her “nodding off” at the Harvester Market on May 2.
Officer Christian Kyle and Sgt.
Matthew Mitchell found the woman behind a running vehicle.
Officer Kyle investigated the woman for driving while intoxicated and determined she was under the influence of drugs.
She was subsequently arrested.
Drug-related items were observed in the vehicle, which was then seized pending a search warrant.
Officer Kyle was granted the search warrant and located two glass jars and a bindle containing a powder-like substance believed to be a controlled drug.
