NEW HAVEN — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Keyasia Mcelveen, who has been missing since May 5.
Keyasia, who suffers from mental health issues and has an intellectual disability, was last seen leaving her home.
She is a female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs 120 pounds.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jeans, a black and purple hoodie, and purple with lime green shoes.
She was also wearing a black and gold wig.
Authorities have noted that Keyasia has identifying cut marks on her arms.
The New Haven Police Department, along with the Missing Persons Unit, is leading the search and requesting anyone with information to come forward.
