1 min read

BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham Police and Schools have acknowledged a tragic incident of violence in Northborough early this morning, identifying the victim as a Bellingham resident who was not a student at Bellingham Public Schools.

Authorities confirmed that other young people from Bellingham were present at the party where the shooting occurred.

The Bellingham Police Department is collaborating closely with Northborough Police and believes the event to be an isolated incident, asserting there is no threat to Bellingham residents or schools.

However, as a precaution, there will be an increased police presence at the High School in the coming days.

Additionally, the High School will provide guidance staff to talk with anyone affected by the incident. “Our thoughts go out to the family of the victim of this senseless incident,” officials stated.
