Two injured in US Route 7 crash near Parker Road

PITTSFORD — A two-vehicle collision on US Route 7 at the intersection with Parker Road resulted in minor injuries for both drivers on May 11.

Vermont State Police responded to the crash at 10:34 a.m., which involved a 2011 Jeep Patriot driven by Staci Jedlick, 33, of Poultney, and a 2006 Buick Lacross operated by Matthew Pratt, 37, of North Adams, Massachusetts.

According to the police report, Pratt had slowed to turn right onto Parker Road when his vehicle was rear-ended by Jedlick’s Jeep.

Both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center by Regional Ambulance Service.

They were treated and subsequently released.

The Jeep Patriot suffered substantial front-end damage, while the Buick Lacross incurred significant damage to the rear.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by East Creek Motors and Carrara’s Services.

The weather at the time of the accident was cloudy with a temperature of 52 degrees, and the road was dry.

The Pittsford Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
