WEST HAVEN — Two people were transported to the hospital Wednesday after a vehicle overturned in a residential area.
The West Haven Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident (MVA) with a rollover on Ocean Avenue near Harding Street.
According to On Scene Media New Haven County, the incident occurred around 5:10 p.m.
The vehicle, for reasons yet to be determined, ended up in the backyard of a house on Harding Street.
The 18-year-old male driver was possibly ejected during the crash.
Both he and another occupant of the car were taken by American Medical Response (AMR) for treatment of their injuries.
The extent of their injuries and their current conditions have not been disclosed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
