North Hampton police nab suspect in Electric Barn burglary

NORTH HAMPTON — The North Hampton Police Department on Friday announced the arrest of a Hudson man in connection with a burglary at a local electronics store.

Chad Breault is accused of stealing more than $26,000 worth of merchandise from The Electric Barn on the evening of May 8, according to a police statement.

The alleged theft is considered a class B felony under NH RSA 635:1, carrying the potential for state prison time.

An arrest warrant was issued for Breault, and further investigation revealed he attempted to sell the stolen goods to a business in Amesbury, Mass.

With assistance from the Amesbury Police Department, Breault was taken into custody when he returned to the company.

Breault faces additional charges in Massachusetts, including being a fugitive from justice.

The stolen items were recovered at the time of his arrest.
