EDEN — Vermont State Police took a 59-year-old Eden resident, Christine Pomer, into custody on May 10 after responding to a family disturbance on East Hill Road.

Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 5:22 p.m., where they identified Pomer, who had an active warrant due to a failure to appear for a previous domestic assault charge.

Pomer was apprehended without any complications and subsequently transported to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.

She was unable to post the required $200 bail.

Pomer has been ordered to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on May 13 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the domestic assault allegation.
