Springfield police seek help finding missing teen

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Police Youth Aide Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Esmeralda Perez, who was reported missing on May 2 after she ran away from home on April 29.

Perez stands approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds.

She is known to frequently dye her hair and was last seen with black and blue hair.

Her mother briefly located her on Oswego Street but was unable to persuade her to return home.

Perez might also be in the Union Street area.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Perez’s whereabouts to contact Detectives at 413-787-6360 or use the non-emergency line at 413-787-6300.

The Springfield Police Department expresses its gratitude to those who can aid in ensuring Perez’s safe return.
