PROVIDENCE — A Massachusetts man was arrested Wednesday morning after a vehicle crash led to the discovery of a firearm being carried without a license.

Rhode Island State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 146 North at 11:50 a.m. and arrested Willian Richardson, 32, of Westwood, Massachusetts.

Richardson was charged with carrying a pistol without the necessary license or permit.

Following the arrest, he was taken to the Scituate Barracks for processing and later transported to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

In an unrelated incident early yesterday morning, Troopers arrested a Pawtucket woman for driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

Rusheena Oladini, 50, was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Old Louisquisset Pike in Lincoln at 2:08 a.m. when authorities determined she was driving under the influence.

Oladini’s blood-alcohol readings registered at .193 and .186 in Phase I and Phase II testing, respectively.

She was processed at State Police Headquarters and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace before being released to a responsible adult.
