LYNDON — A 48-year-old Lyndon man has been arrested for violating court-ordered conditions by contacting the alleged victim multiple times, Vermont State Police reported.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a call at 6:30 p.m. on May 6 at 59 Kate Street, where they investigated a complaint involving Richard John.

Authorities say John contacted 21-year-old Devon John from Danville, violating the terms of a protective order on seven separate occasions.

After a thorough probe, Richard was taken into custody on May 8 and processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on May 9 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.
