CONCORD — A local woman was cited for false pretenses after allegedly using another person’s debit card information without consent, Vermont State Police reported Tuesday.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were contacted by Cheri Kinney, 42, of Concord, on Jan. 16 at 9:05 a.m., who claimed her debit card information had been used by Jazmyn Cummings, 28, also from Concord.

An investigation revealed that Cummings had been using Kinney’s card for about a month without her knowledge.

Authorities concluded the unauthorized use of the card and on May 8, Cummings was officially cited.

Cummings is scheduled to appear in Essex County Superior Court on June 5 at 12:30 p.m. to face charges for the incident.
