Caribou police seek help in library theft case

CARIBOU — The Caribou Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in investigating a theft at the Caribou Public Library.

Authorities say the incident took place between March 13 and March 27.

Officials reported that a small 8×11 TAP touch screen tablet and a standalone rally camera, both utilized for Telehealth appointments, were stolen from the library’s premises.

The police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the recovery of the stolen equipment to come forward.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office encourages individuals with any relevant details to contact Aroostook County Crimestoppers.
