Bronx man arrested for domestic assault in St. George

ST. GEORGE — Vermont State Police Williston barracks responded to a reported domestic assault at a residence on Hemlock Road, on May 8, at approximately 6:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, troopers apprehended Corey Francis, 43, of the Bronx, New York, identifying him as the suspect in the incident.

The investigation concluded that Francis had inflicted bodily harm on a 28-year-old household member, whose identity has not been disclosed due to the nature of the crime.

Francis was taken to the Williston barracks for processing and subsequently lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 bail.

He is scheduled to appear at Chittenden County Superior Court on May 8, at 10:30 a.m., to face charges of 2nd Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault.
