GEORGIA — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Mill River Road on May 5, where they found Shelaine Dykas, 42, of Milton, showing signs of alcohol impairment.
Troopers were called to the scene at approximately 3:11 p.m. and identified Dykas as the driver involved in the incident.
During the interaction with Dykas, officers noticed indicators of impairment and subsequent investigation confirmed she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Dykas was subsequently transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.
She was released with a citation and is scheduled to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court on May 14 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charges.
