Enfield police investigate early morning shooting

ENFIELD — Police were called to the intersection of Lincoln Street and Alden Avenue early Friday morning after reports of gunfire.

At approximately 5:38 a.m., the Enfield Police Department received multiple calls regarding a shots fired incident.

Authorities arrived at the scene to investigate the disturbance in the residential area.

Officials have stated there is no immediate threat to the public, but the investigation is still ongoing.
