SOUTH BURLINGTON — A St Albans man was charged with driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 189E on May 5.
Mark Litchfield, 65, was taken into custody after Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to the incident near the I89N junction at 6:05 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities found Litchfield’s vehicle off the road.
During the interaction with Litchfield, Troopers noted signs of impairment.
Litchfield was subsequently released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court-Criminal Division on May 28 at 8:30 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries from the crash.
