RANDOLPH — Vermont State Police arrested a Bethel woman on charges of drug possession and trafficking following two separate incidents.

On March 13, at approximately 1:39 p.m., troopers responded to a report of two unconscious passengers in a vehicle at 127 VT Route 12 S.

Andrea L. Veroneau, 35, was screened for impairment and arrested for DUI and cocaine possession after a vehicle search revealed suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and amphetamines.

A subsequent search warrant executed on the vehicle resulted in additional evidence of drug activity.

In a related operation on May 4, at around 9:43 a.m., a traffic stop near 2069 VT Route 107 led to the discovery of more suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and unidentified drugs in Veroneau’s possession.

Veroneau was processed at the Royalton Barracks and is being held at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

She is set to appear in Orange County Superior Court on drug possession charges and in Windsor County Superior Court for drug trafficking charges.
