Warren woman arrested as fugitive from justice on drug charge

WARREN — A 40-year-old Warren woman, Zanda Ball, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Service and Vermont State Police Berlin for being a fugitive from justice.

At approximately 1:13 p.m. on May 3, law enforcement officers apprehended Ball at a residence on Plunkton Road in Warren.

She was wanted on an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire, where she violated bail conditions related to a conviction for dispensing a controlled drug resulting in death.

Following her arrest, Ball was processed at the Vermont State Police station in Berlin.

She is slated to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on the fugitive from justice charge.
