Two arrested in Roxbury drug bust, fentanyl and cash seized

BOSTON — Two individuals were taken into custody on Friday after the Boston Police Department’s Drug Control Unit executed search and arrest warrants in Roxbury.

Aysha Young, 38, was arrested at her residence on Mt.

Pleasant Street following the issuance of an arrest warrant for possession of Class B substances.

During the operation, officers and detectives from the B-2 and C-6 Drug Units seized 47 grams of fentanyl, four Suboxone strips, over $900 in cash, and various drug paraphernalia.

Clifton Moore, 60, arrived at the scene while the search was underway and was also arrested.

Both Moore and Young face charges of trafficking Class A substances and possession with intent to distribute Class B substances.

The pair are scheduled to be arraigned at Roxbury District Court.
