Lyndon man arrested on DUI suspicion, parole violation

LYNDON — A Lyndon man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after being found unresponsive behind the wheel on Fall Brook Road.

Lyndonville Police Department Patrol Officer Daniel Renaudette discovered the vehicle at about 2:18 p.m., with the engine still running and the driver, Adam Gilman, 38, slumped over the steering wheel.

Upon investigation, Gilman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

He was processed at the Lyndonville Police Department and then lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Saint Johnsbury for violating parole.

The Vermont State Police assisted at the scene.

Gilman is scheduled to appear in court on July 29.
