Lewiston police arrest three, seek fourth after College Street shooting

LEWISTON — Police have arrested two juveniles and a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting late last night and are reviewing the involvement of a fourth individual.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 84 College St. around 11:37 p.m. on April 25 and found multiple shell casings, suggesting several shooters were involved.

There have been no reported injuries.

The two juveniles, aged 15 and 16, face charges of reckless conduct with a firearm and violating release conditions.

They are currently held at the Long Creek Youth Detention Facility in South Portland.

Jaden Shaw, 19, was arrested early this morning on charges of reckless conduct, illegal possession of a firearm, and violating release conditions.

Shaw is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Authorities have identified a 24-year-old man as another shooter.

The District Attorney’s Office is determining whether to file criminal charges.
