Groton home burglary yields loss of unique vintage motorcycle

GROTON — A local residence on Quarry Road was the target of an extended burglary, with the culprits making off with a variety of items, including a distinctive 1965 Honda Trail Bike, according to Vermont State Police.

Authorities were notified on May 1 about the incident which is believed to have occurred between February and May.

The stolen Honda, a CT-200 model, is particularly notable for its license plate, “GARLIC4U”.

A representative photo of the bike has been released in hopes of aiding its recovery.

The Vermont State Police have not yet identified any suspects and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
