Driver arrested for DUI after single-vehicle crash in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — A 20-year-old Charlotte man was arrested on DUI charges following a single-vehicle accident on Greenbush Road on the evening of May 3.

Vermont State Troopers from the Williston Barracks were called to the scene around 9:25 p.m. where they found the vehicle operated by Keagan R. Bothwell.

Upon interaction with Bothwell, troopers observed signs of impairment.

After conducting a field sobriety test, Bothwell was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

He was processed at the Williston Barracks and subsequently released with a citation.

Bothwell is scheduled to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court-Criminal Division on May 23 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the DUI charge.
