West Boylston police report rash of street sign thefts

WEST BOYLSTON — West Boylston and neighboring communities have been experiencing a spree of street sign thefts, with approximately 55 signs reported stolen recently.

Authorities say the thefts occur late at night, with perpetrators using power tools to remove both the signs and their brackets.

The stolen items are suspected of being sold for scrap metal.

The West Boylston Police Department is actively investigating the incidents and urges the public to report any suspicious activities.
