COVENTRY — A Coventry man was arrested early Thursday morning after a traffic stop revealed he was driving with a suspended license and violating court-ordered conditions of release.

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on May 3, Vermont State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Route 2 near North Danville Road.

The driver, identified as 44-year-old James Baraw of Coventry, was found to be operating the vehicle with a criminally suspended license.

Further investigation showed that Baraw was also actively violating conditions of release set by the court.

Baraw was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks for processing.

Following the arrest, Baraw was released on a citation to appear at Caledonia Superior Court – Criminal Division on June 3 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the incident.
