Campton police report busy April with over 700 calls, multiple arrests

CAMPTON — The Campton Police Department reported a total of 712 calls for service throughout April, resulting in seven arrests on various charges, including drug possession and theft.

Among those arrested was a 41-year-old man apprehended on Tower Road.

He faces charges of receiving stolen property, possession of fentanyl, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A 45-year-old woman was also arrested on Tower Road on identical charges.

An 18-year-old male was taken into custody on US Route 3 for violating a protective order, while a 34-year-old male was arrested on Back Street for bail jumping related to previous charges of fentanyl possession and driving after suspension due to DUI.

Police took an intoxicated individual into protective custody on US Route 3 and another person was detained for an involuntary emergency admission.

In addition to the arrests, Campton Police conducted 91 motor vehicle stops, issuing 88 warnings and handing out three citations.

Officers also responded to five motor vehicle accidents.
