DUI following crash in Exeter

EXETER — A 50-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday morning on charges of driving under the influence after a motor vehicle accident on Nooseneck Hill Road.

Darlene C. Amaral was taken into custody at 11:41 a.m. by Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks.

The arrest occurred as a result of Troopers responding to the scene in Exeter.

Amaral was transported to Kent County Hospital and later released on a misdemeanor charge pending the results of a blood test and a future court date in the Fourth District Court.

In a separate incident early Thursday, Scott Findeisen, 64, was arrested on a warrant for trespassing.

The warrant originated from the Charlestown Police Department.

Findeisen’s arrest at 12:33 a.m. followed a vehicle stop on Route 95 in Exeter.

He was subsequently transported to the Charlestown Police Department.
