BOSTON — Police from the Boston Department’s B-3 Anti-Crime Unit arrested two suspects Tuesday night in connection with a string of neighborhood package thefts.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers apprehended Mark Graham, 57, of Boston, and Manee Ruiz, 49, of Dorchester, during a targeted operation near Washington St and Morse St in response to community complaints about increased package thefts.

Graham, identified by police as fitting the description of a suspect in prior incidents, was found with Ruiz.

After a brief investigation, their involvement in the thefts was confirmed, and both suspects were taken into custody.

Ruiz was also found to be wanted on two active warrants.

A search revealed several stolen items in the possession of the suspects.

Graham faces charges including Larceny from a Building, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Burglarious Tools.

Ruiz is charged with Larceny and Shoplifting, 3rd Offense, under warrants from Boston Municipal Court and Cambridge District Court, respectively.

Both are set to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
