Missing Somersworth teen found safe, police thank community

SOMERSWORTH — The Somersworth Police Department announced today that Alaina Wilson, the 13-year-old girl reported missing since April 30, has been located and is safe.

Alaina was last seen around 8:30 p.m. heading southbound on Route 108 on foot.

Standing at 5 feet 2 inches and weighing approximately 100 pounds, she was described as wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt with “IRAQ” lettering, possibly carrying a grey backpack.

The police department extended gratitude to the community for their assistance, highlighting the role that public shares and calls played in the successful outcome of this case.

Authorities have not released further details about where Alaina was found or the circumstances of her return.
