Brattleboro police seek hit-and-run driver after teen struck

BRATTLEBORO — A 17-year-old pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle on Maple Street on Tuesday morning, and the driver fled the scene, according to the Brattleboro Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 8:12 a.m., and the juvenile was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police have not yet identified the operator of the vehicle involved in the crash.

The case remains under active investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.
