Springfield man charged with domestic assault in Guilford

GUILFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a Springfield man on Monday afternoon for alleged domestic assault and related charges at a residence on Coolidge Highway.

Authorities responded to the incident at 3:46 p.m. after receiving a report of an assault.

Upon arrival, troopers interviewed the victim and conducted an on-scene investigation.

Kashka Lundy, 38, was taken into custody after evidence indicated he had committed domestic assault, criminal threatening, and unlawful mischief.

Lundy was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $500.

He is scheduled to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on April 30 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.

The identity of the victim has not been released, following Vermont State Police policy regarding incidents of domestic violence.
