KENNEBUNK — Maine State Police announced that Susan Aubuchon, the 77-year-old woman subject to a Silver Alert, has been safely located and thanked the public for their assistance.

The Silver Alert was issued by the Kennebunk Police Department after Aubuchon, who suffers from cognitive issues, went missing from her home on Cheshire Meadow Lane since Monday.

Described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes, she was last seen driving a gray 2015 Jeep Compass with Maine registration SUZE.

Authorities were concerned as Aubuchon may have been wearing leggings and a sweater and was believed to possibly be in the Bridgeton area.

Despite having no known acquaintances there and not answering her phone, the prompt action of issuing the alert facilitated her safe return.

The Kennebunk Police Department had asked anyone with information on Aubuchon’s whereabouts to contact them at 207.324.3644 option 1.

However, following the positive outcome, no further assistance from the public is required.

The circumstances of how Aubuchon was located have not been released at this time.
