Boston police seek public’s help to ID assault suspect

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual implicated in an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon incident that took place in downtown.

The assault occurred at approximately 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 17, in the vicinity of 10 Post Office Square.

According to authorities, the suspect used glass as a weapon during the assault and subsequently escaped in a blue Audi sedan.

The Boston Police Department is thoroughly investigating the details of the incident.

The public is encouraged to come forward with any relevant information by contacting District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-4571.

The department assures that the identities of individuals offering anonymous tips will be kept confidential and protected.
