Three Rhode Island residents arrested as fugitives in Massachusetts burglary case

PROVIDENCE — Members of the Detective Bureau made multiple arrests on April 26, taking into custody four individuals wanted as fugitives from justice in Massachusetts for charges related to an unarmed burglary.

Jovan Lemon, 29, of Providence, Paul Lemon, 30, of Warwick, Steven Berdugo, 28, of Providence, and Paul Miller, 46, of Providence, were all arraigned in Sixth Division District Court following their arrests.

Each of the accused faced a charge of Fugitive from Justice from the neighboring state.

After the arraignment proceedings, Jovan Lemon, Paul Lemon, Steven Berdugo, and Paul Miller were released into the custody of the Massachusetts State Police to face charges in Massachusetts.

The arrests were part of a coordinated effort between the Detective Bureau and Massachusetts authorities to apprehend individuals involved in the burglary.

The Bureau has not disclosed additional details about the burglary or the circumstances leading to the identification and arrest of the individuals involved.
