Danville man arrested for aggravated domestic assault in presence of child

DANVILLE — Vermont State Police arrested a 30-year-old man on charges of aggravated domestic assault committed in the presence of a child on April 28.

Troopers were called to a residence on Calkins Camp Road at 6:53 p.m. following reports of a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, they identified Cedric Curley of Danville as the individual involved in the incident.

The investigation revealed Curley had caused bodily harm to a member of his household while several juveniles were present.

Curley was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Following the issuance of conditions of release, Curley was released with a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court.
