Motorcycle crash in Wethersfield leaves one injured

WETHERSFIELD — A motor vehicle accident early Sunday morning resulted in serious injuries for a motorcycle operator on the Berlin Turnpike.

At 6:31 a.m., Wethersfield Police Officers were called to the scene at 1750 Berlin Turnpike following reports of the crash.

Emergency services, including Aetna Ambulance and Wethersfield EMS, provided medical assistance before transporting the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital.

The incident, which currently has the northbound section of the Berlin Turnpike at Pawtucket Street closed, is under investigation by the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team.
