Milford crews extricate person trapped in overturned vehicle

MILFORD — At approximately 1:30 a.m. today, Milford Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle accident requiring extrication at the intersection of Bic Drive and Naugatuck Avenue.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a single vehicle overturned with one occupant trapped inside.

Crews immediately worked to stabilize the scene and safely extricate the individual from the wreck.

The occupant was successfully removed from the vehicle and transported by Milford Fire Department to a local trauma center with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Firefighters were on scene for about an hour, managing hazards and ensuring the area was safe before recalling the incident and returning to their quarters.
