Livermore variety store burglarized, alcohol and tobacco stolen

LIVERMORE — A burglary and theft were reported at the Long Green Variety Store in the early hours of April 23, with suspects making off with alcohol and tobacco products, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Noah Poulin is investigating the incident, which occurred around 1:30 a.m., after the store’s front door window was found shattered.

The extent of the stolen goods has not been disclosed, but the targeted items were primarily alcohol and tobacco.

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public.
